View Wyoming's Abundant Wildlife
In mid-April and early May, the landscape begins to transform in Central Wyoming and with it comes a wave of color and wildlife. Wildflowers begin to bloom and birds arrive during their migration. There are many areas where you can observe a wide variety of birds as they head back to the northern regions. From Edness Kimball Wilkins State Park to the miles of paved trails along the North Platte River and out on the prairie, bird activity is abundant. More information about the migration and where to view birds is available on the Audubon Society website.
