COWBOY UP IN CASPER
CASPER, WYOMING RODEOS
Here in Casper and Wyoming, rodeos are a part of the tapestry of this place. So much so that, each year Casper hosts some of the best collegiate and professional rodeo athletes in the country. Kicking off the rodeo season is the College National Finals Rodeo (CNFR). Featuring the best cowboys and cowgirls from universities and colleges around the country, CNFR is held every June where competitors try their hand at becoming a national champion in various events including saddle bronc, bareback, barrel racing, bull riding and more. Meanwhile, the Central Wyoming Fair and Rodeo, which is one of the top 35 PRCA rodeos in the U.S., takes place every July with five nightly rodeo performances.
