Pet Friendly
Bring your furry friends with you when traveling to Casper. They’ll be right at home in our pet-friendly hotels.
In Casper, adventure is better when everyone comes along, including your pets. With miles of mountain and riverfront trails to explore, your dogs will love it here. And when it’s time to rest after a day outside, you’ll find plenty of pet-friendly hotels and lodging options ready to welcome your four-legged companions.
Casper offers a range of accommodations that make traveling with pets simple and stress-free, from major hotel brands with designated pet-friendly rooms to cozy, locally operated lodges that understand dogs are part of the family. Many properties offer convenient outdoor access, nearby walking areas and front desk staff who are happy to share their favorite local dog-friendly spots.
When it comes to getting outside year-round, there are several places to take your dog. Casper and Natrona County have dog-friendly parks, but there are a couple of city parks where dogs can play off-leash - Lake McKenzie Park and Morad Park - as well as Dylan’s Park at the Tate Pumphouse.
Dogs are welcome in other parks as well, but must be kept on-leash. There are also several trails where you can walk your pups, including the Platte River Trails, the trails at Edness Kimball Wilkins State Park, Muddy Mountain Loop Trail and Bridle Trail. Walking or hiking on local trails is one of the best things to do in Casper in the fall, especially with your dog in tow. Be sure to keep your dogs on-leash on area trails and pick up after them.
And lastly, if you’re fueling up before or leaving Casper, swing by Hat Six Travel Center in Evansville. Hat Six has a fenced-in area for your dogs to stretch their legs.
