Sing about the places you love, the people who make this community special, the adventures that keep you here, the memories you've made, or the little things that make Casper feel like Casper.
Maybe it's about the North Platte River running through town, Casper Mountain on the horizon, a Saturday night Spuds game, dancing on the turf at a David Street Station concert, floating through Fremont Canyon on a kayak, or the staff at your favorite coffee shop. Whatever it is, we want to hear it.
We're looking for something upbeat, fun, and exciting - we want it to match the energy of our destination!
If chosen, your song will become more than an anthem, it will be used as the soundtrack to our new video celebrating Casper and everything that makes our destination worth experiencing.
Submit your song for a chance to win $10,000 and help give Casper a sound of its own.
Important Details:
- Submissions are due by October 31st, 2026.
- If selected, you will be full credited in the video, our website, and in a press release announcing the winner.
- Our ideal song length is between 2-3-minutes.
- If chosen, you must provide professionally recorded audio files, including the full-length version with supporting :30s and :15s adaptions of the song by a mutually agreed upon date to be used in shortened edits of the video.
- If chosen, you must provide all lengths both with lyrics and without lyrics.
- You must grant Visit Casper full rights to the song in perpetuity to be used across a variety of owned and paid media channels.
- All songs submitted to the competition must be original works created by the submitting artist(s). The use of artificial intelligence ("AI"), machine learning, generative AI, or similar technologies is prohibited in the production of your final submission.
- Please provide full song credits production information (where applicable) with your submission, including: songwriter(s)/composer(s), performer(s)/vocalist(s), producers, engineer(s)/mixer(s)/recorder(s), collaborators (businesses, studios, or other musicians), studio(s), software/DAW(s), plugin/instrument/sample/loops/other production element sources and/or stock sites.
