September 5 - “We Made it to Oregon-Now What?”

After a long, arduous and dangerous trek across the continent to Oregon, emigrants were now tasked with their first unprepared-for winter in Oregon, then, springtime, exploring Oregon Territory for land, and to build a new home to create the dream of prosperity that had brought them so far.
