Where to Find the Best Food Trucks in Casper, Wyoming
While Casper may be located in the wilds of Wyoming, there’s one thing here that everyone loves - food. No matter what part of the city you’re in, you’re going to cross paths with our local restaurants, of which there are 190+, each serving up their own flavors.
And while there are standalone restaurants throughout Casper, there is also another place to experience our culinary scene. Meet Casper’s food trucks.
From breweries to festivals and events to cool neighborhood hangouts, Casper’s food trucks are a key part of our city’s culinary offerings. Plus, in a place like old Wyo’, the trucks provide plenty of ways for residents and visitors to dine al fresco while surrounded by one of our most alluring attributes - the outdoors.
We’ve scoured far and wide to round up the city’s best food trucks and with that, let’s get ready to dig into some grub.
I’Scream 4 Wings & Ice Cream
Because one food truck isn’t enough, you need to meet this family of food trucks. Betty - the original truck - is home to I’Scream 4 Wings and serves wings complemented by homemade and unique sauces, as well as handcut fries.
Meanwhile Lola Kay, also part of this food truck family, serves ice cream. When the outdoor temperatures are below 85 degrees, you can find her making her way through local Casper neighborhoods where you can snag large scoops of ice cream. You’ll also see her at events in town, with custom flavor creations like Maui Waui, Butterscotch and Huckleberry.
Insider tip: Lola Kay is a great option for events, from weddings to meetings and more.
They also have Wyoming’s only indoor food truck, located at Oil City Beer Company.
Rockin Burgers N Dogs
A Casper staple since 2013, this truck serves up classic burgers and original creations. The star of their show - the all beef hot dogs. They have half-pound all beef, foot-long hot dogs, Detroit coney dogs, nachos, soft pretzels and tasty drinks.

Smokin Hot Butts BBQ
Two words: award-winning barbecue. Known far and wide for its tasty BBQ, you can find brisket, pork ribs, pulled pork, chicken, gumbo and chili.
Good to know: order the homemade bread pudding or homemade banana pudding for dessert.
Papa Lombardi’s Italian Smoke House
Think of this truck as a smokehouse on wheels with all sorts of tasty meats, cheeses and pastas, as well as Mexican fare. Be sure to try their roasted peppers.
WY Knot Pretzel Co
If you love pretzels and the West, this is a must-stop food truck. Pretzels are served in the shape of a W (for old Wyo), and have a soft, pillowy center with a crisp crust. All the pretzels are made from scratch, hand-shaped and served with your choice of - what they like to call - drizzles and dips.
Insider tip: treat yourself to a fresh-squeezed lemonade or slow-brewed iced tea.
The Hangry Dog
With five years in Casper, The Hangry Dog continues to be one of the best food trucks around. They serve hot dogs, which are complemented by handcut fries, house-made chili and macaroni and cheese. You can stick to tried and true traditional hot dogs or enjoy a specialty topping like cream cheese or nachos fixings.
