Deep Rooted & Still Growing...
Agricultural Tourism
While Natrona County is most well-known for its year-round outdoor recreation opportunities, the energy industry that helped it grow into the community we enjoy today, and a growing art scene, agriculture has been at the heart of Casper since its founding. Explore a piece of our agricultural history at The Bishop House, the former home of Wyoming sheep rancher and postmaster Marvin L. Bishop and his family.
Get away to the One and Only Casper, where you can pick out fresh produce during the summers at our many local Farmers Markets, savor delicious Wyoming Raised beef at Frank's Butcher Shop, and try your hand at learning some ranch skills with the C Bracket Horse Barn.
Then visit our friend Cathy at The Bloomery on select summer night to enjoy her sheep-ranch-turned-flower-farm that is now one of the most unique concert venues in the county! Still enjoying their horses, raising feisty poultry, and growing stunning wildflowers, you'll feel right at home in their backyard oasis; enjoying whatever performance you attend!
