Agency Among the World’s Top DMOs

Thursday, July 25, 2019—Casper, Wyoming—Visit Casper is pleased to announce that they earned their Destinations Marketing Accreditation Program (DMAP) seal and recognition and brought home their accreditation at the Destinations International Conference in St. Louis, Missouri this week. With this accreditation, Visit Casper joins an elite group of fewer than 250 DMOs throughout the world to earn their seal.

“We are thrilled to have completed this process and garnered our DMAP status,” said Brook Kaufman, CEO of Visit Casper. “We hold ourselves to high standards at Visit Casper and earning this accreditation shows our commitment to strategically and effectively marketing Natrona County.”

The globally recognized DMAP is a third-party accreditation program that raises agency expectations toward excellence and increases credibility for industry stakeholders. In order to receive this designation Visit Casper has had to meet or exceed 58 mandatory and 30 voluntary industry standards, while also providing evidence of excellence in many areas including, strategic planning, management and facilities, brand management, marketing and destination experience.

“Becoming DMAP accredited is an amazing step for Visit Casper,” said Tiffany Gamble, Board Chair for Visit Casper. “This helps demonstrate that we care enough about business excellence to go the extra mile in order to operate at the highest industry level possible.”
