May 13, 2024—Casper, Wyoming—Visit Casper is joining industry partners across the country to celebrate National Travel and Tourism Week (NTTW) May 19-25, 2024, with events that include attraction tours, trivia night and the annual breakfast.

“The tourism industry is a steady driver in Casper and Natrona County,” said Tyler Daugherty, CEO of Visit Casper. “The impact it has on local businesses, residents, amenities and quality of life is far reaching, and it’s an honor for Visit Casper to help move the industry forward.”

Visit Casper is celebrating NTTW through a variety of events, including:

  • Monday, May 20: How to Connect with Visitors (full); Historic World War II Airbase Tours, 10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.  
  • Wednesday, May 22: PR Workshop (full); Historic Trails West Trek, 9:30 a.m.
  • Thursday, May 23: PR Workshop (full); Casper College Tourism Practicum, 8:30 a.m.; Trivia Night at Frontier, 5 p.m.
  • Friday, May 24: Visit Casper’s Annual Breakfast, 7 a.m.  
  • Saturday, May 25: Wild Kingdom – Presented by Mutual of Omaha (David Street Station)

During 2023, Wyoming welcomed 8,721,400 overnight visitors who spent $4.8 billion throughout the state, while that visitor spending generated $263 million in travel-generated taxes. The visitor economy supported 33,0470 jobs in Wyoming.
