May 28, 2024—Casper, Wyoming—College National Finals Rodeo (CNFR) is returning to Casper for the 25th year, with 14 hotels generously donating 59 rooms and 545 room nights for this year’s event, for a total value of $153,605.28.

“Casper is synonymous with CNFR, and this community’s kindness shines again,” said Wayne Stewart, Director of Marketing & Communications for Visit Casper. “Their generosity fuels the community, making events like CNFR in Casper possible.”

Rooms have been donated by AmericInn by Wyndham, Best Western Downtown, Candlewood Suites, Comfort Inn, Courtyard by Marriott, Hampton Inn, Hilton Garden Inn, Holiday Inn East, Holiday Inn Express, Quality Inn, Ramkota Hotel, Residence Inn by Marriott, Sleep Inn and Super 8 West.

“CNFR is a cherished event in Casper,” said Tyler Daugherty, CEO for Visit Casper. “Our lodging partners show up year after year to support this event; they’re the unsung heroes and behind-the-scenes supporters of CNFR.”

During CNFR – which takes place June 9-15, 2024 – Casper welcomes 400 top collegiate rodeo athletes from 100+ colleges to compete in a variety of events, including bareback riding, bull riding, saddle bronc riding, steer wrestling, tie-down roping, team roping, barrel racing, breakaway roping and goat tying.

Additional festivities and events that are taking place in Casper during CNFR week include:

  • A tradeshow at Ford Wyoming Center throughout the week
  • Rodeo Red Carpet; Friday and Saturday, June 14-15
  • CINCH Style Show at Ramkota Hotel and Conference Center; Saturday, June 15
  • Special Olympics Rodeo at Ford Wyoming Center; Saturday, June 15
