$5 per participant or $3 for museum members, which includes admission to the Fort and the Museum
Fort Caspar Museum is starting a new series of monthly programs called “Hands-on History.” These workshops will be held twice a month on Saturdays and will take students of all ages on a learning journey through time. Come smell, eat, and enjoy Old West past-times. Understand and appreciate the sacrifices many of the pioneers, soldiers, trail-blazers, miners, and more endured during their life-times. Handle and study objects used by people long gone, and then create your own art pieces, science projects, and culinary delights. Most of all, learn about history while having fun.
The cost to attend the class is $5 per participant or $3 for museum members, which includes admission to the Fort and the Museum. We welcome people of all ages but class size is limited, so please sign up in advance by calling the Museum at 307-235-8462. Students ages 7 to 17 may participate in the Hands-on History classes unattended; children 6 years and under must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Please see our website www.fortcasparwyoming.com for a printable class schedule that includes workshop dates and descriptions, or call the Museum with questions 307-235-8462. Fort Caspar Museum is located at 4001 Fort Caspar Road.
