Downtown Christmas Parade

For any regular attendees, the Downtown Christmas Parade will look a little bit different this year as for the first time, it will fall on the first weekend in December Saturday the 7th. So plan accordingly, because Casper's Christmas Parade is a true spectacle that puts our communities Christmas spirit on full display. Cheer on your favorite parade floats, wave hello to Santa, and make sure to grab a hot chocolate from your favorite local coffee shop!

Casper’s concert schedule never goes into hibernation. Catch an eclectic lineup of award-winning artists all across town, all winter long. Standout shows include Christmas Around The World by the Montreal Guitar Trio at The Lyric on December 15, 2024, and the gritty alt/folk sounds of Pleasure People at Frontier Brewing on February 15, 2025. Catch the legendary Glenn Miller Orchestra at the Ramkota Hotel on February 23, 2025, and the jaunty jazz stylings of the Jeff Troxel Trio, who’ll be performing at The Lyric on January 24, 2025.

Kinser Jazz Festival

For 57 years, the Casper College Kinser Jazz Festival has provided performance opportunities and jazz education to jazz ensembles from all across Wyoming! This February 3-5, 2025, don’t miss your chance to see the jazz legends of tomorrow right here in Casper! Tickets start as low as $10.

A Sherlock Carol

Throughout December 2024, catch A Sherlock Carol, a Dickens of a Christmas mystery, at Stage III Community Theatre. This highly theatrical holiday production is perfect for all ages, features six talented actors, and runs from December 6 to 22!

Do you put stock in livestock? Head to the Ramkota Hotel December 9-11, 2024, for this remarkable event hosted by the Wyoming Stock Growers Association. The Winter Roundup includes a cattle industry convention, a ranch succession planning seminar series, and a vibrant trade show!

Get in the local groove and build lasting friendships by attending weekly events in Casper this winter! Like beer? Like bingo? Perfect. Head to Blacktooth Brewing every Wednesday at 7 p.m. Or, feast on Friday Night Prime Rib at Petro Pub every Friday from 5 to 9 p.m.!

Who needs an official, organized event to have a blast in the snow in Casper? Not you, that’s who. Grab some friends, rent some fat bikes, and bomb down Casper Mountain’s powder. Hold an impromptu figure skating competition at the Casper Ice Arena or David Street Station. Layer up and go snow camping, or shred the gnar on skis or a snowboard at Hogadon Basin Ski Area.
