Notable June Events in Casper
On June 2, lace up for the Visit Casper Marathon and “run with the herd.” Choose from the 10k, half marathon, full marathon relay, and full marathon, or join the fun as a spectator cheering runners to victory. The starting line and festivities take place at Ford Wyoming Center.
Casper’s annual First Thursdays kicks off on June 6 as the streets come alive with community and creativity. Held the first Thursday of the month from June through September, enjoy dining and shopping downtown as shops and restaurants have extended hours.
Celebrate the LGBTQI community at Casper PRIDE this June 6-9, 2024. This weeklong celebration recognizes the LGBTQI community and advocates with gatherings, an outdoor festival, drag shows, and more. The free United in PRIDE festival on June 8 at David Street Station has live entertainment, vendors, and food trucks supporting equality and individualism in Wyoming.
In 2024, Casper celebrates its 25th year of hosting the College National Finals Rodeo June 9-15 at the Ford Wyoming Center. Join the excitement as 400+ collegiate athletes from across the country compete in bareback riding, barrel racing, team roping, and more to be crowned the next national champion.
Kick off rodeo week at the Western Fest in downtown Casper at David Street Station on Sunday, June 9. Experience western vendors, local food trucks, carriage and pony rides, line dancing lessons, rodeo-themed activities, and a movie — 8 Seconds — telling the story of rodeo legend, Lane Frost.
Art lovers won’t want to miss the annual June events surrounding NIC Fest, presented by the Nicolaysen Art Museum, which is Casper’s longest-running downtown festival celebrating the arts. Taking place June 14-16, purchase works of art from local and regional artists, with vendors selling their art in a community market setting. This free festival also features live entertainment and performances celebrating the area’s thriving art community.
