Family. Friends. Feasting. These three F’s sum up what Thanksgiving is all about here in Casper.

When it comes to feasting, many Casper locals and visitors alike opt for the warmth and comfort of gathering around the dinner table and enjoying home-cooked turkey. However, there are times when dining out on Thanksgiving is a more practical option. No post-holiday dishes to wash? Yes, please.

Many of Casper’s restaurants close their doors for the day to allow their staff to enjoy the holiday. So finding that elusive “We’re Open” sign can be a daunting task. That’s where we come in: we’ve contacted virtually every establishment in town so you can focus on just enjoying the meal. Here are the Casper restaurants open on Thanksgiving Day!

Global Cuisine

Three locally-owned, internationally-inspired favorites, J.S. Chinese Restaurant, Pancho’s Mexican Food, and House of Sushi, will all be keeping their doors open this Thanksgiving Day. Tasty global cuisine that requires you to spend zero time in the kitchen? Now that’s something to be thankful for.

Hotel Restaurants

Hotels around the country often keep their in-house restaurants open on Thanksgiving, and Casper is no exception. Remington’s Restaurant at Ramkota Hotel boasts traditional dishes steeped in Americana. Remington’s is open to the general public on Thanksgiving, with hours of operation to be determined. We recommend making a reservation in advance!

Friendly Holiday Reminders

Every staff member who is working at the Casper restaurant of your choice this Thanksgiving Day is doing so at the expense of spending time with loved ones. Thanksgiving is a day for kindness and generosity, so please treat restaurant employees with respect and consider tipping more than you normally would.

Also, remember that restaurant hours often change on holidays and might not coincide with those posted online. We recommend calling to confirm before heading out and making a reservation when possible!

While finding restaurants open on Thanksgiving Day might require some extra planning and flexibility, it’s not impossible. As you can see, there are still quite a few delicious dining destinations where you can enjoy a holiday meal without lifting a finger or loading a dishwasher. Happy Thanksgiving!
