Pumpkins and Ghost Stories
Where can you pick out a pumpkin right here in the 5150' that doesn't include a big box store? We're so glad you asked!
Leeward Tree Farm LLC may be the cutest spot around to pick out your pumpkins. They also have decorative stalks and winter squash, in case you want to go all out!
Located at 6809 Zero Road, they're open Wednesday - Friday, from 10 am - 5 pm.
You can also head on out for a day of family fun to the Green Acres Corn Maze. They welcome you to bring your own carving tools, pick a pumpkin from their "patch" and have fun making the mess of carving right there.
Located at 8451 Haines Road, they're open Saturday - Sunday, from 10 am - 6 pm. *Weekdays by appointment only.
Once you've picked out the perfect pumpkins for carving, check out these cute pumpkin stencils we've put together just for our locals! Download for free here.
Satisfy your sweet tooth at the Rialto Soda Fountain in downtown Casper. While you're enjoying one of their delicious shakes on a warm October afternoon, be sure to ask them about the haunted history of their building!
If you're looking to explore even more of the haunted side of Casper, the ghost tours at Fort Caspar Museum will be just what you're looking for. They have a few dates and times to take in this experience, so be sure to call and claim your spot with them before they're filled.
Ready for a truly hair-raising tale? Stage iii presents The Woman in Black: A Ghost Story this October 11 - 27. Check out out their showtimes and get your tickets, you won't want to miss this thrilling story! If you like the more silly, monstrous side of Halloween, the Casper College Theater program has you covered with their presentation of Mel Brooks' Musical: Young Frankenstein from October 11 - 20.
